UK Foodbanks

The Trussell Trust foodbank network works in partnership with local churches and organisations to bring foodbanks to communities across the UK. There are now over 400 foodbanks in the network. Find out about our national network here

This foodbank is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at Thriving Life Church, 18c Crawfordsburn Road, Newtownards, BT23 4EA. Thursday's we are open in Comber and Kircubbin (see opening times below),

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday: 11.00am - 1.00pm (Newtownards)

Wednesday: 7.00pm - 8.30pm (Newtownards)

Thursday: 11.00am to 1.00pm, at Comber Baptist Church, 72-73 Mill Street, Comber, BT23 5EG 

Thursday: 7.00-8.30pm at Church of Ireland - Main Street, Kircubbin

Friday: 11.00am - 1.00pm (Newtownards)

We can only give food to people with a valid green food voucher.

We rely on food donations to feed local people in crisis. From packets of pasta to tins of tomatoes please give what you can. Could you donate in-date non-perishable food from our shopping list.
